Quote by dMpwhat about this one link?
hehe, i would sure love to see it put in here as well, cuz i missed it ^_^'

Believe it or not, MT deleted it from teh anime dump due to mature content.. I didnt think they did that. Anyway, it wasnt THAT mature, just an onsen image and no intimate areas were visible.. geez, they're getting paranoid.

Whoa can't believe they deleted it. Have to agree, these deletion are getting a bit out of hand. ~_~

Anyway thanks for posting your latest deleted scans here once again Groundsquirrel, greatly appreciated. If your future JE scans get deleted again please continue to post them here. I'd really like to have the complete collection :)

Oh and hikago, if you still want that picture, I can pm or email it to you. I was fortunate enough to grab it before it got deleted.

f

Awesome, thanks a lot! :)

could you post this one too, It's the only one missing: http://download.minitokyo.net:8001/thumbs/227459.jpg

thx again and great job with the scans :)

EDIT: thx so much for posting the last pic. Shame the best ones always get deleted ^_^'

f

Instead of creating a new thread I will post my question here since the subject seems perfectly suited for it.

I want to post a scan(which I had to repair btw) that shows a little bit of nudity. Nothing too explicit, just the girl's chest uncovered.

I will censor it when submitting it but I would just like to know if I'm allowed to post a direct link to the uncensored version in the initial post? Unless I can post scans with brief nudity which I doubt -.-

f

Nice, thanks for the info ajb, very useful.

If I was printing at home on my own printer I would print directly from psd but I'm not. And I don't think the place where I intend to print it have photoshop(just a small printing store). Most of the time they don't so I have no choice but to chose another format.

I was going to print it from png before but not anymore thanks to you :)

Oh and I believe my photoshop version has imageready.

f

Quote by bladerunner2005When you're doing your work, save the image in the native format of your software. This preserves all layers.

For final release art, go with .png. It's usually a better format for color and line definition. It's a bigger file format, but not as lossy. It can also support alpha channels for making parts transparent.

Ya, I always save in psd when doing my work. I used jpeg of course to post it here on minitokyo but like I said previously I'm gonna use png for sure when I go print it on a color laser printer.

f

Well, I finally submited my artwork in the indyart section so you're all welcome to go check it out. :)

I just wish I could've uploaded it in full resolution so you could see the little details better but the size is still pretty big so it's no big deal.

f

well I finally tried it and it seems jpeg works just fine :o

Like I said I remember saving my work in jpeg a while ago when it was still in it's early stage and it gave me bad results.

I must've done something wrong back then. Oh well.
The important thing is that I won't lose any quality and I'll be able to post it here now since the file won't be too big as opposed to png.

I also plan to print it on a color laser printer. Might use png instead of jpeg this time since file size won't matter as much.

Again thanks everyone for the help. I will post my work here soon. I hope you all check it out and add your comments about it once I do. Would be greatly appreciated! :)

f

Nintendo games gave me my most memorable gaming moments, so Nintendo is my choice.

I'll never forget the feeling I got when I first played Mario 64, Super Mario Bros 3, Legend of Zelda OOT & LttP...etc Great stuff!

f

Sounds like png seems to be a good choice, so I'm gonna try it once I'm done with my work(which should be soon, finally! -.-)

I have a blue gradient as my background and It came out ugly when I tried to save it in jpeg a while ago. Gonna try it again just in case I messed up when I saved the last time aswell as trying all the other available formats and see which one gives me the best result.

Anyway thanks for the advices everyone, really appreciate it. I'll post again if I still have trouble with it, hopefully that won't be the case.

f

I'm currently doing my very first own creation. I created a character, scenery and added lots of effects but I don't really know what is the best format to chose so that I don't lose any quality.

I'm used to making quite a bunch of work in Photoshop whether it's signatures, wallpapers, logos...etc which I, most of the time, save in jpeg but for the work I'm currently doing jpeg isn't the ideal format. I tried it and it gives me not so good results. Tried some other format and while some of them are better than jpeg the quality still takes a big hit.

So if anyone could give me some advices it would be greatly appreciated. This is a very important work for me and I intend to post it here once I'm done with it but I won't share it if it isn't at it's best.

Thanks a lot in advance.
(sry if I posted this in the wrong board)

f

I bought it because of all the hype it got. Played it for 2min and never touched it again after that.

Never get why people make such a big deal about this game o_0

Quote by KorganoSmmm... levels can't go down by itself, y'know? o.O
there must be something happened, like posts or walls being deleted... or something else... but 1 level decrease is not like you're losing your entire life,... you can get it back in no time... :)

True that but still. It took me a while to reach lvl.10 and suddently it goes back to lvl.9 >_<
But like you said, it shouldn't take long to get it back. Hopefully next time I reach lvl.10, it'll stay like that.

f

I'm currently playing RE4. This game is just fantastic. Best RE ever?? imo that's easily a yes!

RE4 has some of the best Boss I've ever seen. Not only better than any previous RE, but one of the best fights I've ever played in a videogame.

And the sound is just superb. I'll give you an exemple. *I don't think it's that much of a spoiler as it does not reveal anything about the story, but that's just me. Read at your own risk*

One time I just entered a sewer. It was really quiet, no sounds, no music, nothing. I start walking forward slowly expecting the unexpected. Suddently, I hear the sound of something metallic breaking, like a prison door or something. following that I hear something drop from afar. I stop and get my shotgun ready >=0000000~~~~~!!!!!!!! Suddently, that thing, whatever it is, starts walking. I can hear it's steps, rapid steps. It's getting louder and louder, and at some point so loud that it's like something was walking just beside me but I still see nothing and then, it stops. I look all around me because those steps sounded so close to me, but I still see nothing. I start walking forward slowly again, my shotgun ready to fire XD when all of a sudden, an insect like creature drops on me from above pouring acid on my head >.<

This is just one exemple. There will be many times like this where the sound is so good, it totally immerse yourself in the game.

As far as graphics goes, I don't think I need to explain much about it. If you've seen some pics or movies you know the graphics are just fantastic.

Also, get ready, cause this game is gonna kick your ass many times. I still have a long way to go and I think I died like 40-50 times already. Same results happened to most people who played it. But it's not like it becomes frustrating. Each time you die, you restart very close by, so it never get annoying. Also, no need for ink ribbon anymore, you can save any time you want, still using the good ol typewriter.

I pity those who will wait almost a year for the PS2 version, which will likely end up not looking as impressive as the GC version. + you can find used GC's for almost the same price as a game these days. If your a fan of the RE serie and even if your not, this game is reason enough to buy that little cube. It's worth it!! OX

f

Ok, I recently reach lvl.10. Everything was fine till today. My level have gone down 1 level and I'm now back to lvl.9

I heard that your level can go down if you delete your submissions/posts but I haven't done any of that.

Is there anything else that can lower it, because I just can't figure out why it did this :(

Quote by rioga16do you have FAQ of it?i need it so much

The DS sequel is coming out Fall 2005 I think. If you mean a FAQ for Aria of Sorrow for the GBA try http://www.gamefaqs.com. You should have everything you need there ;)

f

Best looking 2D Castlevania??? I think so. Looks better than SotN imo. :)

f

I didn't really like Xenosaga.

Yes the Story is great but beside that, I found everything else pretty bad.

Didn't really like the characters especially the main one. The fact that theres no music almost during the whole game except for the cinematics screwed the atmosphere. Add to that the lifeless environments and it gets pretty boring.

Battle system was ok but nothing that great.

Good for you if you liked it, but personnally, I really didn't like it. I played quite a bunch of RPG's and Xenosaga is definitly at the bottom of the list for me.

f

Definitly Skies of Arcadia Legends. My favorite RPG by far!
The only negative thing I can say about SoA is that theres a bit too much random battles, but everything else is awesome. Superb Story, Characters(both good & bad guys), world, music, battle system...etc

Also try Baten Kaitos if you want to try something new. Great & original battle system, awesome graphics & music. Story & characters are good but not spectacular.

f

I'm listening to the soundtrack right now which is one of the best videogame soundtrack I ever heard.

Harry Gregson Williams - debriefing is probably the best piece of music I've ever heard.

As for the game I'm 14 hours into it and I really love it. But I won't say if it's the best in the serie, not yet. I'll beat it first but so far, I have to say the first one is still a bit better for me, not by much tho, both of them are prety close.

f

I think I have a new favorite game song.

Listening to the MGS3 soundtrack right now and Harry Gregson William - debriefing is just spectacular.

Another new screenshot to make you salivate till the grand unveiling this saturday

Quote by Celessalmao - that's a very cute pic - very wicked indeed. Thanks for sharing. ^^

hehe no problem. Very cute you say!?!?! I think that looks very hot!! :)
This game will sell like hotcakes in Japan that's for sure. + Jump will surely advertise that game in their mag. We're talking about millions of readers here.

That's the kind of killer-app Nintendo need for the DS to go against the PSP.

Anyway with that said here's an update: you can add Boboboubo Boubobo, Death Note and Ichigo 100% to the featured series found in the game with One Piece, Naruto and DBZ

f

http://ranobe.com/up/updata/up14719.jpg

Super Smash Bros. type of game with characters from DBZ, Naruto, One Piece & many more and best of all made by Nintendo :)

I've been waiting a long time for this. Looks awesome. Been praying for it to be a SSB kind of game and it looks like my wish came true.

Now I only need to know that Fire Fist Ace(One Piece) is in it and I'll be in heaven :)

Look for more info on the game next week when they officialy unveiled it at the Jump Festa. Can't wait!
